PARTY BANNERS

HOW TO MAKE

Here's a simple tutorial is for party banners/pennants printables... No matter what your party theme, this quick & easy DIY banner tutorial is something you will use for every party. Here's what you'll need...

  • Scissors or Paper Trimmer

  • Ribbon or Bakers Twine

  • Scoth Tape (optional)

  • Printable Banner Design

  • Small hole punch (I used my "We R Memmory Keeper Punch" which has two different size punches in one tool -
    I love this tool!)

STEP ONE:
Cut out your banners, and punch holes. You want to punch your holes in the top left and top right corners of each banner/pennant.

NOTE: If you're using Bakers Twine, use a smaller hole punch. For thicker ribbon, use a regular size hole punch.

STEP TWO:
Thread your Baker's Twine or Ribbon through the holes in your banner... weaving front side to back... then back side to front... and repeat until your banner is complete.

NOTE: I believe you can never have too much ribbon on the banner ends... but you want to make sure you have at least 18"-24" of extra on each side, for hanging your banner.

STEP THREE:
Add a little tape to the back side of your banner... covering part of the Baker's Twine or Ribbon. .

NOTE: This step is optional... it's up to you. I like to do this with Baker's Twine because it helps keep the banner in place. But with ribon (depending on thickness), it usually stays in place without this step - - Again, it's up to you.

STEP FOUR: Continue adding more letter until your banner is complete. You can make short one word banners ...
or long banners... Make it your own to fit the space.  Be sure to leave enough string/ribbon length on both ends for hanging.
