HOW TO MAKE
This simple tutorial is for ID Badge Invitations. These are an easy way to make a 2-sided Badge Invitation. It's a great way to invite friends to your party. Download this tutorial here.
For this quick DIY project here's what you'll need...
Printable Badge Invitations
Glue stick, permanent tape runners or double sided tape
Paper Trimmer, Scissors or a Ruler with an X-acto Knife
Lanyard or Badge Clips
STEP ONE: Score the Badge Invitations using the DASHED FOLD LINES on the edge of the printout.
STEP TWO: Using the trim lines on the printout, cut out Badge Invitations. Do not cut along the fold lines.
NOTE: Use tools you are comfortable with... so if you don't have a paper timmer, use a ruler with an x-acto knife, or scissors.
STEP THREE: Fold badges in half.
STEP FOUR: OPTIONAL- Place adhesive on Badge back to keep invitations flat. Fold & adhere together.
• See the red dotted lines on sample for adhesive placement
NOTE: Although this is optional, it does help with keeping the badges flat. Again, use the adhesive/tools you are most comfortable with... but I do not recommend using a liquid glue, because this can leave ripples in the finished badge invitations.
STEP FIVE : Then, place Badge Invitations into plastics. Use a lanyard or use badge clips for sharing your invitations.
NOTE : Other options for plastic pouches for a more permanent for the Badge Invitations are to use Thermal Laminating Pouches or
Self-Sealing Pouches. Although they are permanent, you can spend more on the supplies to create them.
Other options instead of the plastic pouches for a more permanent for the Badge Invitations are -
• Thermal Laminating Pouches with
a home laminating machine
• Self-Sealing Pouches
• Laminating at a copy center
